Shipping to SpitzWatch

Request a work order number and our
USPS P.O. Box
address to ship to by contacting us.

Ship your fine timepiece to us. Insured of course. Shipping details below.

We will send an email to you with your service quote for approval.

We start your service, order parts and move toward completion.

Once the timepiece has passed quality control, and payment
is received, your fine timepiece is returned to you.
- Please package your watch in bubble wrap and packing peanuts in an
appropriately sized cardboard box. An additional step to ensure proper transit
is to place this first box inside a larger box, with peanuts or bubble wrap
surrounding your first box. Now it floats on air until it arrives in our hands. - Include a quick note regarding the history of your watch and what the problem is that we need to address during our estimate.
- Include your contact information. Name, Email Address, Phone, Return Address.
- You will be shipping to a USPS P.O. Box located inside a USPS official Post Office, therefore United States Postal Service is typically required. You may send by any means you choose (ex:priority mail with insurance) as long as you include delivery confirmation. Most of our clients have switched from registered to this service.
- Do Not Send any original manufacturer watch boxes to us that came with your watch when you purchased it. If you do we will keep them and sell them on Ebay (we’re funny).
- Do Not place any wording on the outside of your package that says:
watch, watchmaker, spitzwatch, timepiece, rolex, cartier, watch repair…
Photo or Video Documentation
It is a wonderful idea to take just a couple of minutes and take a few pictures or video of your watch being packed up. A close up of your watch as well. This ensures the Claim’s Department of a carrier (other than the USPS Registered Mail shipping method we recommend) a swift payment to you if problems should arise.
Shipping A Luxury Timepiece
Do not feel uncomfortable sending your family heirloom in the mail. We receive and ship countless watches around the world using the methods described above. Some of our largest clients use the mail system for watches that value hundreds of thousands of dollars. It is not out of the ordinary to send a luxury watch in the mail.In fact most jewelry stores you would normally bring your luxury timepiece to for service will in turn simply box your timepiece up and send it in the mail to the Manufacturer’s Service Center. Could be SpitzWatch as well. You thought it was being serviced right there in your home town, but off to Switzerland it went.
I’m sorry to report that at this level of Watchmaking there simply are not many of us around to take care of the needs of the complicated watches that are being produced for today’s market. We are specialists located across the globe. The mail is our friend.
Please contact SpitzWatch if you have any questions.
