Overhaul Advice
Most of you choose your Ferrari Mechanic with such precision. Once you find a good one, well he or she is certainly in the family. I feel you should do the same with your Watchmaker at this level of micro mechanics.
A mechanical timepiece that is so complicated internally can certainly confuse many who would simply like to take care of their prized posession the right way. This page is here to help you understand in very simple terms what we can do to ease the pain regarding all of your questions and needs. You can navigate via many links on this site to learn and see more regarding procedures..

Mechanical Overhaul
- Just Mechanical service is actually what I recommend most of the time. It’s fast, less expensive than a complete overhaul (which includes a case and band refinish) and most of the time it is all a fine timepiece needs.
- If you are happy with the appearance of your timepiece and your problems are simply complicated mechanics why would you polish off layers of solid gold every time it gets service?
- Let’s see what your fine timepiece needs when it gets here. Maybe it’s just something rather simple. Have a look on the Brands We Service page slideshow to see if your movement looks like one I frequent.
- This service saves you as a consumer considerable amounts of money at this level of fine watch service.
- In order to present full useof this service we document each repair with digital imaging as proof to our internal service routines.

Complete Overhaul
Imagine when your Ferrari gets to the mechanic for its 7,000 mile / kilometer service. Now imagine your mechanic has to disassemble the entire engine completely, send all the individual parts, screws and so forth into giant ultrasonic robotic computerized agitation machines for cleaning in special fluids. Then he reassembles your car piece by piece, by hand, oiling each and every piece with extremely expensive oils as per each manufacturer’s (in this case Ferrari) model specifications. Test run the car for a while. Give it a complete buff and polish, satin finish the old parts, waterproof the car with some new rubber gaskets around the windows, windshield and boot ( haa haaa ) and back to you it goes.
That is what we do as Watchmakers when you get a Complete Overhaul. We rebuild your watch from the ground up.
As you can see this is a labor of love to complete. An art of perfection. A passion to rebuild a watch piece by piece.
Amazing isn’t it?
